Insurance Agency marketing that brings the calls.
Their rate went up, so they are searching tonight. We make sure they find you.
Insurance shopping starts with a letter, a closing date or a new driver in the house, and it is over fast. We build the profile, pages and reviews that catch it.
Insurance Agency is not like the others.
Most trades compete with the shop down the road. An independent agent competes with a carrier's ad budget, a captive office with that carrier's name on the sign, and comparison sites that sell the click to whoever pays most.
Then there is timing. Nobody wakes up wanting insurance. They shop because the renewal letter came in higher, because a loan officer needs proof before closing, because a teenager passed the driving test, or because Medicare is coming up. The search starts the same day the trigger does and it is over by evening.
So the job is not being famous. It is being the local office that shows up for the exact line somebody needs, on the day they need it, backed by people saying you answered the phone.
The system underneath →What we would work on first.
The order matters as much as the list. These five are ranked by what moves a insurance agency business fastest, not by what is easiest to sell.
One profile category per line you write
Google keeps separate business categories for auto, home, life, health, Medicare and commercial insurance. Most agencies pick the plain one and stop, which hides them from every other search. We set the primary to the line you want most and stack the rest under it.
A page for every line you write
Nobody types insurance. They type the line: car, home, renters, life, business, Medicare. One services page listing all of them ranks for none of them. Each line gets its own page, written the way your town asks for it, with the quote form on it.
Reviews asked for after the claim
Most agencies ask when the policy is signed, which is the moment a customer feels the least. The review that wins the next shopper says you picked up when their car was on a tow truck. So the ask moves to the claim, and your team gets the wording.
Citations only an agent can get
Every carrier you are appointed with runs an agent locator, and your state runs a public license lookup. Most agents have never read what those pages say about them. Those, plus the independent agent networks, are listings the office down the street cannot copy.
In place before enrollment season
A Medicare book earns most of its year inside one short window in the fall. A profile tidied up after that window opens is too late. Categories, pages and the review habit have to be sitting there before the mail goes out. We work backwards from it.
We have done this work inside an insurance agency, and the first thing that moved was not the website. It was the categories on the profile and who was getting asked for a review.
Worked in Insurance AgencyWhat another quarter costs you.
None of this is urgent in the way a broken van is urgent, which is exactly why it slides. Here is what slides with it.
Same system, different trade.
Before you book the call.
Can an independent agent beat the national brands?
Not for cheap car insurance in your state, and we would not take your money trying. Those results belong to the comparison sites. What you can own is the map and the searches for an agent, an office and one line, where people who want a person end up.
Most of our business comes from realtors and loan officers. Is search worth it?
Referrals get checked. The name comes over the phone, and the first thing that person does is search it and read your reviews. This work protects the referrals you already get before it brings you new ones.
We write in more than one state. Does that change the plan?
It changes the pages, not the profile. The profile ranks around the office you sit in. The other states get their own pages, for the lines you are licensed and appointed to write there.
Do you need our carrier logins?
No. We need your Google Business Profile and your website. Carrier locator pages sit behind agent portals, so we tell you what to change and your rep makes the edit.
We only write Medicare. Is any of this different?
The moves are the same, the calendar is not. Your primary category is the Medicare one, not the general one, and the work has to be finished before the season opens.
