Pool Service marketing that brings the calls.
Ranking everywhere is how a pool route loses money.
Weekly customers and green pool calls are two different searches. We point both at the suburbs your truck already drives.
Pool Service is not like the others.
A pool company is really two businesses on one phone number. One is the route: weekly customers who stay for years. The other is repair, a dead pump, a heater that will not fire, a pool that went green over a long weekend. Different searches, different people, different money.
The route is where the profit sits, and the route is geography. Stops a few streets apart pay for themselves. A customer past the last stop eats a chunk of the day, every week, for as long as you keep them. Ranking wide is not the win here. Ranking hard in the suburbs you can finish in one run is.
Pools are not spread evenly either. They sit in the subdivisions that were built with them, so one zip code has water behind half the houses and the next has almost none. Anything planned at the city level walks past that.
The system underneath →What we would work on first.
The order matters as much as the list. These five are ranked by what moves a pool service business fastest, not by what is easiest to sell.
Draw the service area around the route
First we agree which suburbs you want the phone ringing from, and which ones you would rather it did not. Pool work only pays when the stops sit close together, so that one call shapes the profile, the pages and everything after.
Build the profile around the repair work
Most pool profiles say cleaning and stop. Pumps, filters, heaters, salt cells, leak checks and green pool recovery each get their own service entry, written out properly, next to the areas you actually run. Fastest lever on this list.
Pages for the week they switch
Nobody types pool cleaning near me while they are happy. They type green pool cleanup, pool pump not running, pool service that shows up. Those searches come from people who already have a pool company and are done with it. A page for each one catches that week.
Reviews that say we turned up
In this trade the bad review is almost never about the work. It is about the week that got skipped. So we ask at the right moment, after a green pool goes clear or a heater comes back on.
The season work, done out of season
Searches for openings and weekly service climb before the water is warm enough to swim in. Photos, pages and listings take time to settle, so the quiet stretch is when they get built. Starting the week the phones ring is starting a season late.
We have worked pool service, and the same pattern turns up every time. The call that fills a route is rarely somebody shopping for weekly cleaning; it is somebody whose pool went green on a Friday and wants it clear before the family arrives.
Worked in Pool ServiceWhat another quarter costs you.
None of this is urgent in the way a broken van is urgent, which is exactly why it slides. Here is what slides with it.
Same system, different trade.
Before you book the call.
Do we need a website, or is the profile enough?
Plenty of pool companies run on a profile alone, and it works until somebody compares two listings side by side. The profile brings the call. The site is where the repair searches land and where you name the suburbs you cover.
Should we market the weekly service or the repairs?
Repairs bring the call and the route keeps it. So the profile and the pages carry the repair work, and whoever answers the phone offers the weekly service.
We only want work in a few neighborhoods. Can you do that?
Yes, and here that is the normal ask. We aim at the areas you can finish in one run and leave out the ones that would cost you money to serve.
What happens in the off season?
The calls drop off, then they all arrive at once. That quiet stretch is the work window. Profile, photos, service pages and listings get built then, so you are already ranking when the first warm weekend lands.
We run one truck. Is any of this worth it?
Often more than for the big names. One route only holds so many slots, and filling them with stops a few streets apart is a smaller job than ranking a whole city.
