Electrician marketing that brings the calls.
Anyone can get the ceiling fan call. We go after the panel jobs.
Your phone already rings for dead outlets. We get you found for the panel upgrades, EV chargers and generator installs that fill a week.
Electrician is not like the others.
Half of what comes in is small. A dead outlet, a buzzing dimmer, a fan somebody bought at the store and cannot hang. Those find you anyway, because the person wants whoever picks up. They fill the day and never the books.
The work that pays is the work people plan. Somebody reads for a week about a bigger panel, or what it takes to put a charger in the garage. They type the job, not the word electrician. Most electrician sites answer all of it on one page called electrical services.
You are also not only up against other electricians. The heating and plumbing outfits added an electrical division, solar crews do panel upgrades, and a handyman takes the fan swap. The homeowner cannot tell which of them can pull the permit.
The system underneath →What we would work on first.
The order matters as much as the list. These five are ranked by what moves a electrician business fastest, not by what is easiest to sell.
Your profile services list
Electrician is the right primary category and nearly everyone stops there. The services list underneath is where panel upgrade, EV charger, generator and rewire belong, and on most profiles it sits empty. Filling it in takes an afternoon.
One page for each named job
One electrical services page cannot win a panel search, a charger search and a generator search at once. Those are three homeowners with three different worries. We build a page each, answer the permit and timing question on it, then tie them to the towns you cover.
The jobs a home inspection creates
Almost nobody builds for this one. A buyer gets the inspection back and it names the problem for them: the old fuse panel, the aluminum wiring, the ungrounded outlets. They search that exact phrase, they are on a closing date, and they call whoever sounds like they have seen it before.
Ask for the review on the small call
The fan swaps and dead outlets are the easiest review you will ever get, because the customer stood there and watched you fix it. The big jobs happen while the house is empty. So the ask goes out on the small ones, before the van pulls off.
Get on the lists that link back
The power company runs a rebate page with installers on it, and the charger brands run their own. Both send people who already decided to spend the money, and most electricians never applied to either. Same with the dealership handing out names with every electric car it sells.
We have not ranked an electrician yet, and the closest trade on our books is plumbing. The phone rings the same two ways there: the panic call that goes to whoever sits in the map, and the planned job somebody reads about for a week first.
Nearest proof · Plumbing, not ElectricianWhat another quarter costs you.
None of this is urgent in the way a broken van is urgent, which is exactly why it slides. Here is what slides with it.
Same system, different trade.
Before you book the call.
Which part of this moves first?
The map side. Your profile and a steady review habit feed the calls from somebody standing in a dark hallway, and that can move in a few weeks. Project pages take longer, because a page has to age before Google trusts it with a job that size.
Do we need a page for every service we offer?
No. A page earns its place when people search that job by name and the job is worth driving to. Panel upgrades, EV chargers, generators, rewires and hot tub circuits pass. Changing a light switch does not.
Does our license number help us rank?
Not by itself. Google does not read a license number as a ranking signal, so that is one thing you can stop worrying about. It matters after the click, because the homeowner comparing three names wants to know who can pull the permit.
We are mostly commercial. Is this worth it?
Some of it. Property managers and general contractors do look you up, and the profile and the reviews are what they find. But most commercial work comes off a bid list and from the contractor you did right by last time. Say so on the call.
We already get plenty of calls. Why bother?
The question is which calls. If the day is full of fan swaps and dead outlets, more of the same is not the problem you have. This work aims at the searches that bring the panel and the charger.
